Seems happy at Rangers. Just getting his head down and getting on with learning his trade. one of our other midfielder's could well do with taking a leaf out of Ali's book.

The only problem is if bigger clubs turn his head with mega bucks. What is he on now ? prob no more then 25....and if he was offered 75 a week ?

Liverpool want him to replace Lucas apparently.

Exactly what I was thinking reading the article. Warnock never said he would sell Faurlin for 17m, all he said was that he is worth more than Jordan Henderson who cost 16m.........cr*p bit of journalism!

Ideal. That'll be £50 million then.... seeing as they spent £35 million on Carroll.

Bloody Scousers. They take players like Sterling, and want Faurlin - and whatever have we had in return? Sammy Bloody Lee?

              **** of you wronguns!

lets be realistic - yes we are on the up, yes rangers r back and all that jazz - but we will not be able to replace him. he came to us as an unknown and (unfortunately) when he leaves i doubt a player of his ability will join us - we will need to rebuild.
we do not have the muscle to buy another Faurlin, simply because a player of his now quality would not join us. he is a gem and we need to hold on for as long as we can.

£17m/£117m doesn't matter - no one would join us of his skill no matter how much money we threw at them/the club.

well this is going to be the norm for next few wees, why dont the club just offer him a mega contract , give him the 50 per week , as people say to replace him will cost us a lot more
stop fkng about move his money and get his contract sorted as no doubt hed have been the one player we didnt put on a long term

Only because Lucas is now injured for the rest of the season, I can guarantee you that they dont rate Faurlin higher than Lucas.

I hope our management are trying to sign him as long as possible but sometimes players don't want to negotiate. If the new owner continues to invest money into quality new signings then hopefully Faurlin can be persuaded of the clubs ambition and then want to stay.

Would you take 10 million and Michael Carrick...?

QPR are going places with their new owners and ambitious plans. Ale could play a huge part in all that if he wants to and if the club sell the idea to him enough and pay him handsomly for it.

Neil has also said he'll "fight tooth and nail to keep him".

I still would not sell Faurlin for 17m because there is no better mildfielder in the premier league at what he does!!! If we going to build as a squad we need to keep our best players at least until the summer!!! Faurlin has 4 years left on his contract still!! Warnock won't let him go!!!!!
