Sorry mate. But Rooney was tearing establised PL defenders a new ar$ehole at the age of 16 week in week out - whereas Adel, at the age of 22, has had one half decent PL game encased by some frankly horrific performances. He has also been pampered waaayyyyyyy more than, say, Rooney under Moyes.

the more I think about it the less Im convinced anyone will want to come in for him. He is is his own worst enemy and the way he has behaved, throwing strops, constantly saying how much he wants away wont be endearing him to too many managers. No matter how talented he is football managers cant afford to have a mardy arsed cry baby upsetting the dressing room.

Warnock doesn't have the time to give Taarabt extra mentoring he does not deserve. He has disrespected the club and Warnock many times now Warnock knows we dont need him so he has given up on him. Balotelli and Rooney are different as they started at the top level and stayed there Tarbs had to drop down to be noticed. Harry Redknapp was right about him all along.

I don't actually disagree with much of the stick he gets on here, he really hasn't helped himself. But I just can't bring myself to dislike him, or actually say anything bad about him after last season.

I know that was in a lower league, but he has made me smile so many times, and did things last year that made so many QPR fans smile. And that is a rare gift. And a rare thing at QPR over the last few years. It's actually quite unusual in football these days.

I sort of want him to go, hopefully abroad. But I would wave him off with affection and massive thanks, rather than focus on the negative side of him.
"Warnock & Taarabt" was one hell of a double act while it lasted.
It's a shame it looks like ending this way, but like I say, he hasn't helped himself.

lets not forget where Adel came to us from - a premiership team.
He couldn't cut it with them
And it's not as if Spurs had some rubbish manager - they've got Harry, who i would say a very similar style to Neil who is able to pick out the outstanding players from the good.

he hasn't set the games alight, but also we don't know what he's doing in training - is he keeping up with the others? is he putting in the effort? is he trying to impress Neil to get picked?
or is he pratting about?

Harry sold him to us - Warnock saw his ability in the Championship, and he's seeing his ability in the PL.

And if we listened to some fans, Helguson should never have been given a chance in the Prem, Furlong wasn't fit to wear the hoops, Adel should have been thrown out before last season started, we had no chance of getting to the Prem without a predator in the box etc etc etc.
Adel has undoubted ability and if he gives himself a chance would become a Premiership Star, I think NW would love him to succeed and prove people wrong but it appears his advisors have other ideas.
Would love him to stay and give it a crack but when you read Mick Jones comments, really doesn't seem likely to happen.
