The 25 in January

Can we play anyone of our squad (inc. those not in our 25) during the month?

Say we signed a player, what do we do? Take a player out our 25 immediately or wait until the end of the month? It's confused me

From January 1 to January 31, clubs can make unlimited changes to their 25-man squad. On February 1 a new 25-man squad must be named to run until the end of the current campaign.

Just to clarify:

You can only ever have a 25 man squad during the transfer window - but the 25 can be changed on a daily basis during the window.

So Jan is the ideal time to get injuries if you could pick any month of the season.

What about the lads off to the Africa Cup Of Nations can they be exempt from the 25 until they return or are they part of a 25 (although it will effectively be 23) ?

It's quite a simple rule - you can have any 25 man squad registered in the transfer window [providing it has 8 home grown players].

When the window closes whatever squad you have registered is the squad for the rest of the season.

So we could conveniently take Taarabt & Traore out our squad until Jan 30 and then put them back in on the 31st?
