My mentality is perfect, Ill train 5 hours every day, be the first on and last off the training field every day without fail. I wont ever moan, will always try me hardest and even wipe me skids off the toilet pan in the changing rooms.

I think you are missing the point.

Nothing to do with who he has joined, very much to do with the fact he should have been in the 25 ahead of the likes of Puncheon....

With respect, I think it is YOU that is missing the point. As Rebel explained Hogan was tried and was found wanting. He was sent out on loan to a team in the third tier (Leeds) and couldn't gain a first team place. He was on the periphery of our squad last season and about the only time when he looked like he might actually turn a game (away to Reading) he got himself sent off. There was no point putting him in the 25 because Neil already knew he wasn't good enough for the Championship, let alone the Prem. As Rebel said, Puncheon and Sick Notes were risks that (so far at least) have not paid off. If Dyer had stayed fit (big "if" I accept) everyone would have been praising Neil for taking the chance as a fit Dyer is class. I was never very keen on Puncheon but in his defence he did more in the Prem last year for Blackpool than Ephraim did for us in the Championship. When Neil has done as well as he has for us, think you have to accept his judgement.

NW took a risk on Dyer and it backfired,a fit Dyer is a much better player than Hogan,as for The Southampton guy,he will be gone soon,hard to understand why Warnock brought him in on loan in the first place

I'm a massive fan of his, such a natural footballer and never moans, never gets any injurys.

I would of left a long time ago, well done Hogan, hope he gets the chance that imo he deserves

I would of had Hogan in the 25 and would love to see him back, but after we strengthen the squad in January I doubt he'll get a place. Shame, he's a top lad, Charlton are lucky to have him.

It is very hard to say that Hogan would or would not have made it in the Prem unless he actually got the chance. I personally feel he would prove to be lighweight and not make an impact but we may have been wrong.

One thing that no one can doubt is that Hogan is a top lad and pro.

Mate, your loyalty does you credit but always think fans are too sentimental. They urge their club to buy new, better players then get all misty eyed about the old ones who are no longer good enough. I can understand it about a player like Buz if/ when he leaves as he has been a real star for us, but Hogan? Hmm.

He joined us when we was shy// when He could have got a bettter club ,He did a very good job for us gave us good service ,now we're in the prem the spoilt brat pack want to put Him down, you wonder when some of our so called fans will ever show a bit of gratitude and just wish somebody who did His best welll and thanks

in oggy i see a young man who appears to appreciate the lifestyle his ability offers him and the inteligence to behave himself in a manner that doesn't alienate him from the hearbeat of all clubs, us fans

not a player destined for regular top flight football or international honours but definitely a model pro who gave his all

now compare that to one mr r vine whom i cannot wait to see skint and asking ant or dec "do i have to eat the whole testicle?"

Now I'm with you on that one mate. The photos of Rowan Vine "smoking" 50 dollar bills in Vegas was the final straw for me - he doesn't get it, how lucky he is to be a footballer, how quickly it will all be over and in his case how little he really has to look back on.
