The problem will be the same whether we play 4 4 2 or 4 3 2 1 or any other genius system people want to call. Each system only works when you have 11 men on the pitch.

AT has been a passenger so far this season and every single premier league team is too good to give a numerical advantage to in the way we have with him on the pitch.

I think it's more a case of you start your best team. Taarabt makes us worse more often than not. Only my opinion, but we battle far harder, and look more of a team without him.

It really is a shame as it's clear he has the potential to be one of the best, but he has hindered us a lot. From the outside, it looks like the team are that upset with Adel that they don't look as up for it when he's on the pitch. Without him, the whole team look happier. This became more obvious at Spurs.

Against spurs, no evidence. Against chelsea, a little. Against the teams he has faced thru his career for us, plenty.

          Mackie: zero evidence.

So many fans fall into the trap of trying to re-play the previous game. You say tabs did nothing against spurs. Fair enough. I could just as easily say mackie did nothing but run around like a headless chicken with no creative flair against blackburn. Take your pick.

              You've found us out.

Its a conspiracy, involving brown envelopes, gianni, pete, "the politically correct brigade" and al qaeda. Be warned: we are very dangerous...

Hes better off starting then coming on IMO. In a game like tomorrow though.. He shouldn't feature..he won't battle and he won't mug man city around.

It says on the official that he could miss out anyway with a bad stomach.

Using Tarbs as an impact sub is a good idea in theory, but it depends on how the team are doing, and I can see issues both ways. If were behind 3 or 4-0, I can imagine him doing a Tevez and not wanting to come on, and if we're winning or holding on for a draw, will Neil really want to upset the balance if the team is doing that well?

He'll either start or will still be on the bench at 90 mins imo

Personally think its more to do with the fact we were absolutely awful first half & couldn't of got any worse against Spurs. Nothing to do with just Taarabt all 10 outfield players were dire. I maintain he is under instructions this season to not hog the ball as he could afford to in the Championship & that for me is wrong. Let him do what he's always done. More good will come from it than this current tactic of pass & move.

Agree with Ric Roc. What, if we are honest, has SWP done since he's arrived really? Not a lot, apart from an excellent game against Newcastle, which didn't actually produce anything. Barton? Really good against Wolves, v solid against Chelsea, otherwise a bit so so. Derry's been pretty terrible for a while (bar Chelsea). But Adel is absolutely crucified. I guess Rs fans do like their scapegoats...

Stain...behave. Nothing to do with scapegoats. I always back my opinion up with reasons. Adel hasn't been performing. End of.

It's not like I want the lad to fail.

As for SWP...MOM on Sunday for me. Not saying he or Barton have been great, but they've also been criticised and it's been accepted. No one is allowed to criticise Adel without loads of others jumping to his defence.
