Hindsight's a great thing....only 2mths till January though....never thought i'd be saying this .... but we should have got rid for whatever psg put on the table, if there actually ever was a bid!

I dont doubt his ability, i doubt his attitude/effort which is why I wont mind seeing him go. Get in Pavlyunchenko and a left winger and nobody will care about Adel anymore.

Admit he hasn't been anything like last year but been ok in most games made telling contribution v chelsea (through ball for SWP) and had moments in other games too.
Today I thought he looked like someone who had never kicked a ball in his life,and so agree he needs to be taken out of the firing line for now.

I've defended adel in past but no longer , thought today perfect opportunity for him to prove his doubters wring, don't think he got anpass ontarget and set up their attacks so many times by giving the ball away in silly areas
2 things struck me today
1. Incident where we are breaking away and instead of running towards their goal and await the pass he ran too the man with ball and ended up turning a promising attack for
us Into a breakaway for them
2. Faurlin had the ball in our half taraabt ran into our half to receive and you could see that faurlin did not trust passing to him and passed it elsewhere

That is a sign of what the team may now think of him

Bloody hell think this is all a little harsh on Adel. Yes it hasn't happened for him yet this season, yes he and his agent don't help the cause with the constant comments and today he was as poor as I have seen him but players do go through dips, as did Furlong, as did Helguson, as was Bothroyd etc etc, I really don't think he should just be written off quite so flippantly.
Without him last season we would not be playing at White Hart Lane, Goodison Park, Craven Cottage :-) this season.
I am not sure why he isn't firing yet this season but had his shots at Wigan and Home to Villa gone in, who knows where his confidence would be now.
He shouldn't start at the moment, in certain games but to want him out, I really can't understand that.
