??? Isn't TV money divided between all the prem teams? Unless those cheeky foreign owners have got their way already? The Last Airbender - M Night Shyamalan - 2010"Ever since you were born I always knew you were a bender!" -
It is based on how many times you are shown on TV with a guaranteed minimum number of appreances, which is why Man U get more money than everyones else.
Not sure what the amount you get per appreance though. One for all.... and all for oneComment

Read somewhere after the Newcastle game it averaged out at 4.3 millinon per match. I was shocked at this and questioned the reality of it but another poster said it was true.
I'l try and find the article somewhere.
So its easy to see why clubs a) can afford to pay massive wages when in the premiership; b) spend a fortune trying to get there and then stay there c) so many get in the turd when they get relegated!Comment

I'm sure other smaller clubs moaning about how many times we are on t v , we'd have been in tv

not sure if it still works out this way but this shows how the tv money was broken down for 09-10. overall it looks like £600k-ish per match back then, plus fixed income (£25,000k) plus final table position bonus (£800k per place from the bottom).
