    Anton Ferdinand the defender

Forget all this racism talk, since signing with the exception of the Fulham game when no one showed up the player has been immense.

His performances against Villa, Blackburn and Chelsea have been outstanding, a proper PL defender who I completely understimated how good he was before we signed him

He's made a very very good start, absolute bargain as well considering Swansea were trying to get 5mil for Williams.

Think Warnock and Curle have had a big impact on his play, long may it continue.

Quietly brilliant. Probably Tony's best signing.

Let's just hope this whole saga doesn't upset him mentally because, in my view concentration has always been his biggest weakness. So far he has been immense for us but it would be a real shame if his mind went wandering now as a result of the dirty little ##### with the filthy mouth
