    Pellicori official, kind of?

ALESSANDRO Pellicori has revealed that he couldn`t resist a move to Queens Park Rangers despite agreeing a deal to join Italian outfit Cosenza.

      Five year deal????

I'm not one to put any player down but this is a guy playing at a level lower than the Championship and his scoring record is worse than Beckford and Cox so how has he warranted a five year deal?

The 5 year deal quoted in the article was with Cosenza...

Now we know Jim mag and Gorman are not buying there own targets this is a you have no choice signing i'm afraid
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Very true but why (unless there is more money involved) would you turn down a five year deal to sign for another club on a shorter basis?

Sorry, how do 'we' know that, Gorman has previously scouted unknowns from S.America, which is not the usual stomping ground for a UK based scout, so how do you know he hasn't been running a similar operation out on the continent?

5 years for a player worth 200,000 euros? its more extreme than the agyman situation. when does an asset actually become a liability? ie when a player's wages are so high and contract so long they become unsellable, like agyman.

btw, was the team that was trying to sign him in siera b or c?

and is this our strike force for next season apparently sorted???

Why Pellicori and not Pichlmann? Team mates at Grossetto, both the same age, both available on Bosmans but one has a far superior record than the other. Pichlmann is almost a goal every two games whereas Pellicori is a goal every three and a half.

                          Higher wages.

                          Higher level.

Doesn't NECESSARILY mean the contract is the same length.

                            Good point.

Putting the length of contract to one side why are we signing a striker who struggled to get into a Serie B side last year?
