Gorman and Madge are selecting the players.

Well they will use John Gorman as the scape goat.
The argie maybe as they did sign one when working at ipswich but this sounds like Flav back to his old tricks.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Gorman is one of the most knowledgeable men in football IMHO. He's more important than madge in my eyes

I'm not wild about this signing (purely based on his record as an established, experienced pro) but fans can't just assume because he is Italian he must be a Flavio/ Gianni signing. As someone pointed out the other day, Magilton prob has BEEN abroad.

Scott these odd signings don't sound like a Gorman and madge combo.
I really am starting to doubt their say. They have great knowledge throughout all the english divisions well Gorman does so we go and buy an unknown from italy. Come on...

Come on Jim - why let such obvious facts stand in the way of the moan at any cost brigade.

We don't know for sure yet.

However, if we had signed Bogdani and Pratley, who were targets before Magilton took over - we would be certain.

People moaning he is in seria b or c?? Which one of are current strikers would get into a seria A club?? Jeez anyone would think we should be signing ibrahimovich from inter or Pato from Milan.

i cant say im excited about this signing - 1 - because he has no valuable experience over here, and 2 - his goal scoring record doesnt look great. However - if it IS JM and JG's personal signing, then i trust they have seen the qualities he has to suit our side. If its the board choosing him however, then id rather not sign him at all

I don't think any of our current strikers could play at a higher level but we could have gone for Bogdani who is a Serie A player and international rather than go for someone who struggled to break into a Serie B team.
