Some of the posts in this thread are a disgrace.
We don't know what Suarez said, and probably they'll never prove it, but if he did say what he's accused of, then he's ****.
Anyone who thinks it's acceptable or 'banter', needs to have a good look at themselves....Comment

The thing is football isn't like you or I working. If I did something, whether recist, sexist or negligent, I would be sacked. But I am not worth millions of pounds to my company.
If my football club was at risk because we would lose £30+ million then I would not want him sacked and Liverpool are in the same boat.
We have a someone at our club that assualted colleagues - he wasn't sacked before and people here were happy to have him.
Football is not like a normal working environment. Not saying it is right, but to suggest a company willingly loses millions for a comment by an employee is not really sensible.Comment

No he can say what he likes, as long as he did the business on the pitch then I wouldn't care. Quality player.Comment

Ironically Chelsea are one of the few clubs to actually sack a player, and then try and get the transfer value back from the player himself.
That's a sickening thought, Chelsea with the moral high ground.....

Exactly silvercue, and thats the point Liverpool players along with all other pros will at some point this season wear those kick racism out t-shirts.The thing is football isn't like you or I working. But there is no way they're gonna lose millions on him.
Double standards but what can you do.
Thats if he said anything racist in the first place.Comment

Coming from a south american background I know a lot of the players are fairly racist toward Africans and Caribbeans etc. A lot of them even though dark skinned themselves see black people as monos. (not being racist that's the word they use)Estamos QPR
