There's always one.... Unfortunately we seem to have quite a few of them one's and a aweful lot of them one's seem to frigging post on this site. As someone else said I too am glad Ric hasn't reacted and I hope he continues to post any info he hears.

I think the real problem that hasn't been resolved yet is how and why Ric's post made its way back into live when he requested it be removed. I remember a post about a month or so ago that had someone having a pop at Pete in it to which was a very good thread. In this instance the whole thread was permanently deleted, however a mod could of just deleted the individual post in that thread, but oh no that wasn't the case. Once again moderators that's a bit naughty and clearly a case of double standards no???

As for giving out Ric's personal details being given out by this sites administration, if true and if this happened to me I think I might have to have a little walk around the ground on a matchday to get answers to those questions in person. What the fark is going on here people?

Fair question so will attempt to answer both points, although fairly sure each has been answered elsewhere before.

Firstly, the club themselves requested that the post/thread remain, so as not to give credence to it by the obvious withdrawal of a thread that had already been read by many. Therefore, the thread was put back up. No problem with any of that as far as I'm concerned. Ric felt in hindsight that he maybe had done something that may have an adverse effect on the club he supports, but as the overwhelming majority on here have already stated, he did nothing wrong whatsoever.

With regard to the second point, the whole thread was permanently deleted by Pete, not by any moderator. And in fairness to him and has been stated before, he did that in error and admitted as much. So not really a case of double standards by any moderator Dazzer, is it ?

Hopefully that is clear for all to see now and won't need to be brought up again.

The stick that Ric-Roc is getting is way OTT... especially from Warnock, and even more so from the kn*b who decided to release it on the official site.

Warnock says stuff in the heat of the moment after a game. He's always done it. Not too clever most of the time, a lot of deflecting blame to others, but that's him.

Ric-Roc posted something that he thought would be public knowledge within a matter of minutes anyway. I'm talking about the injury to DJ.
The team selection was probably something that shouldn't have been posted, but I've seen plenty of posts like that before on here and elsewhere. You can't delete every thread/post that could be seen as a help to other clubs.

His email address should NOT have been published on the official site, or read out by Warnock.
I'm in the dark about any conversations between the site owner/QPR FC and Ric-Roc. I'm in the dark about all sorts of stuff on this site.
But I will say that whoever gave his email address to the club would not have thought for one second that it was about to be publicly displayed by the club for all to see. Just that the club were going to privately contact Ric-Roc to ask him about the source of the post, and to refrain from posting such stuff again.

Badly handled by all parties.
But the whole thing has gotten most out of hand by the decision from QPR FC to publish his email address, rather than deal with it privately and discretely.

Everyone else involved has been naive in all this, but the club have been vindictive. And Ric-Roc has suffered more than anyone because of a bit of innocent naivety on a messageboard. Nothing more.

If QPR are going to be so precious about info leaked... What about transfer rumours and 'done deals' across thye messageboards that could alert other clubs to a player they want, and allow them to nip in and take 'our' target at the last minute??


Anyway, Ric-Roc - I'm sorry this has happened to you. Not deserved.

just read wanocks(drama queen supreme) comments about ric in the paper. bad darts whoever gave out his e.mail address.i havent seen the official site but what right have they got to make anyones personal details public ?

I would honestly take it further if I was you. This very site was created on 'deliberate' leaks and 'ITK' posts and suddenly this stunt is pulled when someone else provides some reliable info in good faith. I'm shocked and disappointed to be honest, the way you have been treated is disgusting. If the information was that sensitive they could have put that this site had a 'database error' for 24 hours (lets face it, it happens often). It's been so badly handled by this site, QPR and Premium TV and we all know the common link between the three.

If elements of the DPA have been breached which seems likely then something needs to be done.

if memory serves me, wasn't it ric roc who made public that information after the fulham game about all the problems occurring behind the scenes, between management and players? because at the end of the day so many people on this site think only about posting something that will strengthen their so called itk status regardless of whether its detrimental to the club. this is just another example of ric roc doing the same thing... again. no doubt you'll all disagree with me but i personally agree with the OP

Its a website. We are all here for rumours, gossip, info & when I hear that all is not rosy behind the scenes why shouldn't we know about it?

Why do you want it all swept under the carpet as if everythings great?

We are talking about massively paid people here who live in a bubble world where everyone hears about (nearly) everything.

If you are so precious that you don't want to read factual info on our club I suggest you don't come on this site as you'll only be disappointed when you read some home truths.
