The trouble that is when you buy someone like, Zamora, Johnson or any other top PL striker, when you coach the instinct out of them to attack the goal and put the ball in the net, to instead get the ball, hold it up to bring others into play, its pointless, you might as well play save yourself a bunch of money and play Gavin Mahon up front.

What we need is a Van Nistelroy type player - obviously we aren't going to get someone as good as that before I'm shot down in flames but someone who can hold the ball up but also fight his way through defenders and get goals. At the top level you should be able to get a player who can do both.

Yes a tad extreme, but highlights perfectly our situation at the moment.
