I think they were a bit rash with the promises which makes it look like they have under delivered in some instances but I think we have to bear in mind that they made the statement on prices almost immediately and then were faced with getting transfers in to give us a chance of staying up, selecting and bedding in a new CEO whilst also sorting out the pricing and refund issues so i think we should give them a bit of leeway on the time element

The club from a staff and management point of view was clearly in a bit of a mess and basically rudderless, despite all the best intentions and the quality of the people brought in you cant turn a pigs ear into a brilliantly run football club overnight. it will take time and there may still be a **** up or 2 along the way but I think the owners have signalled their intent quite clearly and have started backing it up with positive actions immediately so as far as I am concerned they have earnt a bit of slack

Any large scale customer refund is going to have relative winners and losers but everyone had the option at the time to buy or not buy at the prices quoted so anything back coupled with the improved squad is a bonus that I hope the majority will accept with the good grace that it was given in

      Agreed Peter

And if I was in charge, I'd ensure the Club Shop is well stocked with all 3 new kits between now and Xmas, so people can use their vouchers.
I'd have found a way of providing credit online - a gift card/voucher number to allow online shoppers the same benefit (although already they would be worse off as online purchases DON'T get S/T 10% discount, that's only in person and have to pay P&P and probably C/C admin)

Also, I'd have sent out a Club Shop Catalogue with the Letters/Vouchers, so fans could consider what to spend their 'refunds' on.

I am a bit concerned that there seems to be some inconsistancy reported between what different people are entitled to, i hope that is just some people misreading the refund info, surely the ability to cash in must be across the board or not, it cant be baseon of if you have a sliver or gold ticket etc

The whole convergence of the physical box office and online facilities needs a complete ovrhaul and the online shop is a disaster, has been since inception and barely improved but its a big job and they need to get it right, better to take the appropriate time to sort it properly than try to improve it peicemeal bit by bit

Certainly a catalogue could have been sent though, it is coming up to christmas after all

I'm personally a little more than disgruntled with the "refund". I've supported the club for over 60 years and over the past 4 seasons I've been pushed from pillar to post.My seat of over 40 years in what is now the W12 club, went up from £284 to £3,525.As a consequence I moved to Platinum and this season that seat went up by 75% (yes 75%).I've now lost my cherished seats in SA Rd and am now in Gold in Ellerslie Rd. As a supporter of long standing and my father before me,I wrote, before any mention of refunds, an impassioned letter marked "private and confidential" and sent recorded delivery,to TF and AB. I RECEIVED NO REPLY. So followed it up with a second letter. To date I've heard nothing. So much for the two of them being "hands on" and "communicative".
In the past,I've had exchanges of correspondence and even return phone calls from,Jim Gregory,Gerry Francis,Gordon Jago, and John Gregory during their times with QPR.
With the increase this season of £300 (75%), to offer me £50 to spend in the club shop or on tickets is a cheap move on the part of TF and AB.My grandson now can't afford to come with me,having lost his seat when it went up from £70 to £499 and its unlikely I will be able to get a match day ticket any where near to where I now sit.So a long line of supporters from my family ends with me.

Another possibility would be an FA Cup 3rd Round ticket - if we get a home draw!

Would an option of using the refund towards next season's ST be satisfactory to anybody?

There is no cash refund unless you surrender your season ticket (surely no onewill?). We have £100 in vouchers between us which I was hoping to spend on away tickets. However, as they are not valid on line I doubt we will be able to use them. My son and daughter already have new shirts so there is nothing we want from the shop. So yes I would have preferred money off next years season ticket.

Could you not just exchange them for a couple of Stoke tickets this Saturday when you go to the Blackburn game?

Bought Stoke online this morning as didn't want to miss out. There surely won't be any left by Saturday?

                          Ah I see

Perhaps the Box Office might let you use them as credit for the Norwich game?

At least the new owners delivered a refund of sorts, even if it wasn’t what you were expecting.

The price hike was before TF and co joined so they didn’t have to do a dammed thing.

But may be the world revolves around you?

Be grateful and you may live a joyful life!

Yeah, we'll give it a go. Might have been helpful if the vouchers were longer dated as well.
