Looks like I am stuffed then being an away season ticket holder as the ticket money automatically comes out of my account so its going to be fun and games trying to redeem my voucher
Plenty of car stickers plus a wooly hat and scarf for your winter travels Isle
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
Shame they dont really, from a business point of view I think the club would benefit by introducing such paths of income. With fans like Mason, the shop would make a killing selling Baltis & Sausage rolls.

That will mean I will get £100 back for me and my two boys. To be honest I am happy with that. I can get them a shirt each and it was money we weren't expecting a month or so back. Also means tickets will be cheaper next season in theory.
Spend £199 get £25 back and have the option of claiming cash (an acutal refund !)
Spend £759 get £50 back, no cash option. Disproportionate.
Spend a further £900 (ish - guessing) on an Away S/T ticket and your left with just the Club Shop. Probably only until 31st December after which, they 'may' have some new shirts on sale.
Feels like the more loyal you are (or the more you spend), the less you get ?

I'm sure they did. Unfortunately the VAT and tax implications of "giving" cash back - i.e. a gift (remember this isn't a refund under the Sale of Goods Act) preclude the relatively simple act of giving cash back to a consumer, either directly into a bank or in cash over the counter.
Really saddened by some of the comments in these threads. Same old same old.
They made an (almost) immediate statement regards refunds, then took an eternity to follow up with a letter to S/T holders, which again rashly was promised within days not weeks !
They have managed to refund money over the counter before. Think VAT and winging a few season ago, when they refunded 5% of season tickets, at the Box Office. I got about £40 or £50 quid for mine and sons.
I'm not knocking the intent. I was even considering giving up part of my refund to community project, but now I'll just have to buy stuff in the Club Shop, I don't really want.
I'd have preferred an option for a credit slip or voucher on my online account which I could cash in on Next Seasons S/T's. That way both club and I would have benefited. They'd keep my money & interest for a season in advance, I'd be looking at a cheaper S/T for my son & I.
It just feels the more you put in, the less you get. I feel for those with Away S/T's also. The fan who attends the odd home game is better off as they are paying reduced prices up front.
Anyway, onwards and upwards and at least the Club badge is being changed again........WHAT !?
Well my two boys will get QPR shirts if they have any in the club shop.
I can understand some of the comments in that people had anticipated cash on the back of what TF and AB had said and then calculating (me included) the percentage based on the earlier thread re the £25 refund on the £199 ticket, HOWEVER, this is money that none of us were expecting so £50 or £25 is more than we thought having already paid for our season tickets!
