Family Area - Away Kid acceptable?

My girlfriend's son (7) supports Liverpool. I have taken him to QPR quite a few times now to try and convert him and although he does like QPR now, he still considers himself a Liverpool fan, and fair play really as changing teams is a strange thing.

Anyway, I can't take him to watch Liverpool at Anfield and I would like to take him to QPR v Liverpool and sit in the family stand with him. I know it is for QPR fans and elsewhere in the stadium it is just not on, but in the family stand would it be considered out of order to let a small kid support the away team if he was with a QPR supporting adult (I could even wear a shirt for the first time ever).

He would want to wear his Liverpool shirt and I would rather not take him than tell him he can't wear his top or make any noise supporting his team.

Last time I sat in the Family stand with him was V Newcastle a couple seasons ago and there were quite a few Geordies in there, but they were with Geordie parents and no one had colours on.

why does he need to wear a liverpool shirt in qpr end?
eg if not wearing it...if lpool score and he claps, just applauding fair play etc...

I would crack on mate. Dont know about the shouting for liverpool though. Might be a naughty 7 year old QPR boy and it could go right off. I can imagine it now jelly babies all over the gaff!!

imagine a red shirt jumps up in qpr end, motd would love it but does it look bad for us?
ie can't sell your end..etc....
i can't imagine anyone bothering a kid but i recall those celtic friendlies and green hoops everywhere in loft, made me sick.

which is why the the dad should wear his QPR colours and the boy could then get away with his Liverpool shirt..
