I can see all of us that did it losing our 3.5 so could be a good earner for the club
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Amazing, obvious mistake by the club but alleged "fans" who live and die QPR are happy to try to rip the club off at the first opportunity for the princely sum of £40 and gloat about it.
New owners have done so much for us and this is how some repay them, the frenzy on here was similar to mob mentality seen by peasants at the riots or an IKEA sale.
No surprise it was the same old faces that were "gotta a Leeds ticket" last season. FFS it's September and so called loyal fans still haven't got a membership but come out with the same excuses as at Leeds that it's for me brother or the mythical mate.
If you can't be bothered to give your club £40 then you really need to have a long hard look at yourself.

This is the thing if they can afford to bow that much on a ticket they can do for a membership

Amazes me how some actually thought they could get one over on the club and feel pleased about it

I dont see this as ripping the club off. And £40 is a lot of money to some people. I for one would have to spend more than that just to get to a game. The people who tried this free membership thing are only doing so to have a better chance to come a watch QPR. so please dont make out we're all morally wrong or "peasants". We're just fans like you.

No offence though but if you can afford a match day ticket then shirley you can afford the membership?

Maybe my point is being lost. I am not saying i can not afford it, i actually said in an earlier post i was going to buy a membership tomorrow and that if i got the free membership i was going to buy a home shirt instead. Just because i tried to get a free membership does not mean im a peasant. Because of where i live i pay nearly £100 to come to a game on my own then if i bring my missus its more.

I have paid my own membership as I have done for a number of years. The reason I personally tried to take up a offer that was clearly on the clubs website was to be able to purchase a second ticket.
I travel over to most games alone and its a long day out. I did not buy a second membership as we have a six month old baby so the chance of the two of us getting over to many games together is slim. I was going to buy the ticket bundle for myself anyway but when the complimentary ticket came available I decided to use the £50 (£40 & £10 booking and postage) saved and buy two of the bundles. The club just got an extra £200 off me.
Ripping my club off? I don't think so.

drog u don't need to defend yourself mate. It's very sad that we have a few on here that like to look at the worst in there own fans. U wouldn't of got that abuse on report mate as they are far more level headed.

Double check the ticket bundle you purchased with that 'free' membership is valid s they have taken away the membership

If the 'free' membership is revoked then fair enough but im pretty sure the club are not going to turn away the £78.50 i just spent on tickets due the error which allowed me to do so.
