All of these teams just highlight even more the importance of having a recognised decent left back.

If I were Matt Connolly and forced to play left back for the season I would be off the moment a decent offer comes in as I would not want to play in an unnatural position. I think by playing him at left back we would risk losing him to a club that would guarantee him a centre back position.

Not that our attacking options look great but they actually look far better than having to force a right footed player at left back for the year.
