I'd be very pleased if we stay up this year. Be nice to get some good performances along the way and a few results against the top teams.

This league takes some getting used to though and remember we've had to put this squad together quickly and on a 'relative' budget.

Our firepower could let us down. By that I mean we need to get Bothroyd and Campbell firing. We havent looked impressive going forwards so far.

But we have made some top top signings which should see us safe.

But if Im being greedy would have liked another striker in!

At the moment I would guess 17th. If we'd got Bellamy 14th, if we'd got Crouch 15th or 16th. Think we'll be 16/17th at xmas. We have as you all know a very difficult end to the season but there's always the Jan transfer window so might revise my guess (hopefully upwards) after that. But considering I was certain before the takeover that we would finish 20th I'm a happy man!
