    I've just watched all the latest videos on player, I didn't realize that Rio Ferdinand was also previously on QPR's Books.Was he poached away similar to Raheem Sterling does anybody know ? Or released ?

    Was he? News to me, i know he was touted around all London clubs around the age of 14, Arsenal trying desperately to sign him, but never heard of any QPR interest.

              Rio was at Qpr 1990-1993, left for West ham.

                Apparently they had a rule at the time of refusing to sign players that couldnt spell their own name correctly, which was enforced in his case.
