I think he could turn out to be a gem for Liverpool, especially if he stays relatively fit, which should be feasible with squad rotation they can afford. It's only 2 years ago he was arguably City's best player and made the Man Utd defence look amateurish at old Trafford (when they lost 4:3), and helped thrash Chelsea at the bridge amongst others.
Good luck to him. I used to hate the guy but hearing his interviews and comments about us last year (when journo's hoped he'd say we should be deducted points for their benefit, but he didn't), my opinion changed. He is still a very good player.
