    Bellend

Hope he will regret joining pool. Cant see him gonna enjoy sitting on the bench there. If he came to us he would have loved it with Joey and Adel.
Bet Adel was thanking his lucky stars that he went to pool ..imagin Joey and Bellend chasing him around the training pitch !

He's alright. He was pretty complimentary about us last season....and let's be honest, hardly anyone else was!!

The fact he rang NW and said thanks for showing interest in me but i can't turn down Liverpool was a nice touch. I certainly won't hold it against him not coming here.

No fair play to the bloke.

Decent player and would have been good for us. Can't blame him for joining Liverpool and wish him the best.

Would have been great wouldn't it, Bellamy and SWP, but never mind, we got one of em!

Don't blame him in the slightest, Liverpool's a great move at this stage in his career. With his knees he won't be able to play week in week out anyway and he's good enough that he'll get plenty of chances there. Would have been a great signing though, no doubt.

If Liverpool hadn't gazzumped us i really think he would have come to us. But not worried that we lost out. January could be a possibility if he don't get games.

Had the decency to call Warnock and thank him for his interest, cant compete with the giants in this league and its a no-brain er at his age. He would have definitely come here , also had Spurs got Cahill we would have had Bassong, could get greedy head on now and start feeling sad!

Always makes me chuckle how fans change with a turn of a coin.

He's a bit like Warnock and Marmite I guess.
Personally can't stand him and didn't want us to sign him - that purely because my policy is always to give 100% support to anyone in a Rangers shirt and I would have found it tough to swallow my pride on him.

What I will say though is that it shows great manners and respect for him to take the time to contact the Boss in the way he did. So much credit to him for that.
