Not only that but the thousands of following he'll bring from Malaysia is something this club needs.
I think it will be something along the lines of every game live in Malaysia which will bring us some nice revenue.Comment

How will it bring us revenue - we can't sell individual game rights anywhere on the planet AFAIK.
Are we not all just guessing or has he said we are doing this?
Might just be that we are letting them play an international at LR?Comment

At the end of the day, "IF" this is about a player then i trust them to do what's best for the club. If the QPR bug catches in the far east and they develope a fan base it would be worth multi millions year in year out.
That said, it could be to announce live football links or QPR Player-Asia to become available or whatever. The prem is massive in that region, so it could just be something along those lines. Or a tour next year....?Comment

Never heard of that. I thought both of their fans already had Sky and lived somewhere in West London.
As far as I understood it - the Premier League own the right to sell Premier League matches and clubs are not allowed to make their own TV deals anywhere on the planet. Same goes for internet streams.
In Spain clubs can do this and it is destroying their league, so they are looking to adopt our model.Comment

I think you're right with that, but the fact the Prem is so massive in that region, they will use it as a tool to generate QPR related revenue streams, be it club links of various types, merchandising etc, given that QPR will get plenty of airtime over there.Never heard of that. Against the likes of Laos, Afghanistan, Nepal, Pakistan, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia. Given 30 games against that lot I think even I would manage to bang a few in. Hell, even Big Dave could probably manage a couple.Comment

As long as NW wants him and thinks he's good enough then fair enough. If not no PR stunts please - that was the old regime.Comment
