Agree but...all the players we now consider surplus to requirements were all we could get at the time and did a job for us. Blackstock, Hall, Vine, the list goes on but they all did their bit.
We've moved on, let them do the same and wish them well.....

Its never ending though, is it. To Man City Shaun Wright Philips is probably a bit like Lee Cook is to us - great fans favourite but no longer good enough for the first team. Every year you improve and bring in new players you create more dead wood. That said, we have entire felled forests of dead wood at the moment, enough to fill the entire Vauxhall Conference...
