What's everyone's views on the board and our aspirations now?

This isn't an 'I told you so' excercise, nor a dig at some of the more negative of fans as I'm sure we all wanted this, but how do you feel now?

I'm in a ridiculously happy mood. I might even crack out the rohipnol tonight.

We all heard the talk and what we wanted is the walk and we've certainly got that. Right now is a GREAT time to be a QPR fan. I have to keep pinching myself that this is real and is actually happening.

Signs are absolutely fantastic. They must of told Barton some good stuff to impress him as much as they did with their ambition. He chose 17500 fans to 55000 ffs, so it's no mean feat by our club.

I just have a tiny concern about someone with less than 1% of our previous owners wealth being able to wave the wallet in the manner they have. Its risky, and I hope it works.

I'm pretty sure he has more money than reported, and I'd imagine the Mittal family are the real money men, regardless of their smaller share.

My theory is ghat they told Tony that if he paid the £80m, and brought Amit back, they would make it more even by fronting a larger sum of cash for the initial set of transfers. In his interview, he clearly stated that he'd sit down with his colleagues and discuss what they can afford. I sincerely doubt that Tony is funding this alone.

The consortium are worth $950m and maybe the Mittals are finally starting to invest - a few million here and there will be nothing if we becoming appealing to both the Malaysian and Indian markets and what deals that could open us up to.

I don't know TF & Amits exact ambitions for the club but with the money we're spending(Barton- Fee's and wages) I can definately see us doing a stoke now.

Personally I'm just happy that we have owners who understand how to treat people.

Blogandwhitehoops posted something a while back which summed it all up for me, the best sentence of which, I've copied below.
