Him and Legs must be the first players we've sold for a fee in years!

I guess at the time, Warnock didn't think he would be getting any money to sign better players. This also applies to Perone, Gabbidon and Dyer.

Could be that he actually knocked on NW's door and wanteed to leave as he wasn't starting for us..

Sad to see him go - he's been a good servant for us.

Shocked at this news. Always had a soft spot for him as despite his limits I think he gave 100% for QPR. Best of luck for the future Kaspars.

Now become conventional wisdom that he lacks pace but this only became a complaint towards the end of last season. Reading this you would think he was an oil tanker but I never thought he looked particularly slow.

Excellent business by reading selling Matt Mills to Leicester for £5million and then signing Gorkss for £900k considering Gorkss is shed loads better!

Or Vidic, or Jagilekla, or Cahill?

                          Football is in the brain.

Speed helps, but look at players like Walcott, Lennon and Wright-Phillips. They have speed, but haven't got football brains.

Thank you very much Gorks our international captain. Gorks can hold his head high going to Reading. He wont be on QPR's long list of infamous ponys.

Terry has lighting speed if Joey Barton threatens to nick his breakfast sausage.
