0 for 2 at the moment Pete....care to firm up this prediction?

Wellbeck and not blackstock would be better!
Myu your a good guy but you don't have to follow Pete and Joe's views.
Scott has it spot on regarding Blackstock
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

we defo need a new striker i dont think dex is good enough unless he has sum1 very good upfront wit him.we already missed out on cox(1.9m to wba surely we could have beat that) looks like we missin out on the likes of c.evans and prob beckford so will b interestin 2 c who if any striker we bring in!!!

Welbecks the obvious choice that springs to mind, but i bet its a defender from utd and a striker from foolham. Have to wait and see i guess.

I just know dexter is gonna come back to haunt us at somepoint!!...

why do we want a old timer?

we should be investing in young players for the future

Wembley he is a strong big black boy that would do a job and add a physical presence.
We will need to mix the young with experience and get the balance right.

Sell Dex and bring two new forwards in. Think Earnshaw would be cracking in this side. Dont like him but he would fit right in.
and then any other from Lita, Webber, Pericard, Beckford, Ellington.

Striker plus left back and bobs your uncle. Maybe a swap deal for a midfielder. Buzz going nowhere, but interest still for about 3-4 Hall, leighterwood, Hogan and Blackstock.
Thought that it was JG and JM that were bringing the players in now? If that is the case, what does it matter if the board are aware of where we need to strengthen?

If the management are aware, then happy, but if the board are still doing their thing...

cos if the board are aware then they are more likely to release funds! still dont see why selling dexter is an advantage, id tather sell hh and aggy before id sell him, why sell your top scorer. if were gonna sell, get rid of fitz hall(thinking we could get an inflated fee for him) sell aggy (500,000 and id bite your hand off) sell mahon (would rather keep legs, is younger and can play RB) and if we are looking to buy a striker i would even consider selling balanta with a clause giving us first refusal on buying him back. that i think/hope could get you at least 2million. loan that eckersley, spend rest on striker
