          Man City

(Wayne Bridge - on too much money and I don't rate. He has no pace)

          The ****

(Heard today that they are reluctant to allow Ryan Bertrand to go out on loan at the moment)

          Liverpool

(Have just signed Enrique and will want Insua for cover)

          Arsenal

(Looking at their squad only Armand Traore stands out..........he's left footed, very quick, defensively a bit suspect as he is more a winger)

So out of all those options for a short term measure, then for me it would be Armand Traore.
Believe Traore is back up to Gibbs now, so im not sure he'd be made available for a loan.

Billy Clifford from Chelsea. Plays left mid and left back. Could have a similar effect that Walker done last year

The pair of these would be cracking buys. I know it's easy to sit on a forum and spend somebody elses money, but £2mill for Cuellar and £3mill for Ridgewell (figure Ive heard banded about they want for him) is a bloody good way of spending £5mill IMO and would go a long way to sorting out our defence.

We would still need RB as, as much as I ike the bloke and have stuck up for him, Orr just isnt PL material in my eyes. Maybe Clyne, what would he cost us; £3mill? If so, that would be £8mill (which is small fry in PL transfer terms, even for PL new comers like ourselves) for 3 very good quality defenders, 2 of which have PL experience.

IMO, 3 such buys would not only sort our defence out, but go along way to cheering our fans up!

How about Steven Kelly from Fulham - he was let go by Jol at Spurs and maybe a cheeky bid of £2.5m could tempt them again - can play right back or centre back.
Or even players from Sundarland they bought ten players this year surely they must need to get rid of some players - not Nyron Nosworthy though (actually he may have been sold aready not too sure).

Nosworthy played against us for Sheff Utd when we stuffed them last season. He was truly dreadful that night!

Without exageration i would say that was 1 of the single worst individual displays ive seen in a while. He got subbed in the 2nd half, looked like a conference player at best. Cant surely be that bad on a regular basis, but there i can only judge by what ive seen and theres no way on earth i would want that donkey anywhere near our football club.... would sooner have Ramage back in!

Isn't this lad from Liverpool we have inquired about a left sided defender?
