OK i'l llearn about football after managing 2 semi pro teams that won silverware and competed at a good standard for many years....shall i?silly statement...

derry had a good game by any standard but was out of his depth... he didnt have the team around him necc to let him perform his duties effectivly and was there fore found wanting...A TOP class player ALA Messi et al will be able to cope with this...Derry is a good solid championship CMno more no less....
B4 you slate me (again) i love Derry, but is that a good enough reason to play hium every week?

So it wasn't derry that was out of his depth, it was the fact that the team around him weren't good enough (your words not mine). Whats he meant to do win the game single handedly? Did his job well and didn't look out of place. Unfortunately I dont think Messi fancies a move to west London.

yes....thats what a top class centre midfielder does.....read some other posts...i'm not the only one saying this

They ran riot in midfield 2nd half...the score shows that....surely even you cannot argue with th final score...or maybe you can?
