Basically programmes aren't worth naff all. Unless you have say George Best last game for Manure or some rare ones. I bought nearly 300 (Hoops) last year for under a tenner from a chap in Wood Green

I got all my dads programmes from the sixties and seventies. And loads.from tge eighties too from what i collected.

Agree with Cambs. They have poor value. I've been to a couple of programme fairs in the past and picked up our 1967 League Cup Final programme for 3 or 4 quid. Others were about 10p each.

You're lucky to get 10p each. Was selling loads last year for a penny each and still couldn't sell all of them

I got one from the 1968 Mike Keen testimonial match against Chelsea. Falling apart though

I thought about buying loads of them recently sorta like Cambs, but, with a view to selling them on individually but using the angle "buy the programme corresponding to the day/week you were born". Although they are worth 10p each I thought someone born 5/9/78 might happily shell out a few quid for a QPR v ???? prog dated 5/9/78. I then thought it'd be too much faff and effort for a moderate reward and shelved my grandiose plans....... Could be daft enough idea to get on Dragon's Den one day though!

There is always someone who will pay slightly over the odds for a programme with some relevance to them eg: Their first game, a birthdate of themselves/child, a cup-tie or suchlike. But "over the odds" isn't much either. Maybe a quid, perhaps two?

There are a lot of programme collectors, just like stamps or cigarette cards. Someone may need one or two programmes to complete a whole seasons set. All programmes are definitely worth more than 10p, maybe if you buy in bulk off someone who is desperate.
