No announcement of the kits as yet may be due to the fact that a sponsor is soon to be announced, albeit a bit late in the day, and will anounce the two together.
If these kits were announced on the offy a while back, with no sponsor, this would imply no shirt sponsor at all for the upcoming season. Maybe?

Wasn't our "classic" strip of the 70's halved and not quarters? Some have said it was quartered but would like to have some photographic evidence to convince me we wore quarters. Not saying, they are wrong, just don't remember it.
Quarters from 72-75, halves from 75-80

Wrong, 72-73 we had a plain red shirt with White shorts, 73-74 we had the red shirt with White winged collar and the scrolled QPR on the left breast, 74-75 initially with a new shirt manufacturer Admiral the away shirt was all red with a black stripe going down the arm. Admiral were dumped a few months into the season as there was a problem with the kits and replaced by the red and White quarters. 75-76 saw the introduction of the red and White halves. Which continued under Adidas up until the all red away shirt. Prior to all of this the away shirt was usually red and black stripes.

i dont mind the kits tbh.

but when are they going to be available to purchase ffs! every team in the prem next weekend will have fans sporting their new shirts except ours.

my mates nephew who is 8 has a football themed birthday party next saturday and guess who'll be the only kid without a new shirt. absolute ****ing disgrace and the way we've all found out about the strips to doesn't even bare thinking about.

i will buy all three shirts this season because i love my team but will not pay those prices to see them this season.

hopefully some away games but we'll see.

Bring back the red/black hoops shirt. Pity no sponsor :(
