really can't see this happening - is Wayne R. didn't make the cut in terms of "spend a bit more on a good player" I can't see the board forking out for astronomical fees for Joe. I'd fel uncomfortable cheering a team knowing that 1 player is getting paid so much more than everyone else - in all honesty, wouldn't want him for that reason.

Agreed. Also I don't see Joe cole as just a luxury player. At Chelsea he worked bloody hard and was a team player - not like taarabt at all.
