completely agree think connolly a relly good player, yes he had a bad spell last year but they allgo through them, he is also our best ball playing centre back and like you leewads dont get ehy people get on his back

His 'bad' spell wasn't even that bad. People just jump on the bandwagon. He is quality. And centre backs rely on the partnership they have with their fellow centre back, so that makes a difference too.

Anyone "can play" in the premier league, it's how well you play, evatt was part of a team which shipped more goals than any other and got relegated.

Connolly will be a back up player at best and that's on the basis that Keith curle pulls him aside pre season, they lauch 150 balls in the air and ask him to head each one WITHOUT it bouncing.. Other than that he will get raped.

I like Connolly on his good days but he can be inconsistent too much.
