He can't really be asking for the world, if bleedin' Swansea can afford him.

Come on QPR, we've missed the boat on too many players already this summer, let's get Routledge, and DJ, signed up.

But I think he could make it in our team. He had a good few months with us, so knows the team well and Neil will get the best out of him. I think we should go get him. As you say he's never settled anywhere, perhaps he should put down roots and why not with us it could be just what he needs, and who better than Neil to manage him.
Just depends if our so called new owner will dip his hand in his pocket.[/QUOTE]

Totally agree Bob. NW has a nackof getting the ebst out of players. Take Derry for example, was hardly the greatest player in the world but Warnock got a superb season out of him last year. And HH, he wa written off and last season he is key to us and chipped in with a modest 12 goals! NW's man management skills are right up there with the very best. Honestly think he could have been the 1 to have Routs playing at his best in the PL, big shame.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Maybe not fair to call him unloyal, was just an easy flippant comment really, but it does beg the question why 10 moves for a 26 year old? I don't expect all players to be like Giggs, but the norm would be 2, 3, or maybe 4 clubs in the same period. So why 10? Something isn't right. He doesn't make himself indespensable, otherwise the frequent moves wouldn't occur.

          Spurs
          Portsmouth
          Fulham
          Villa
          Cardiff
          QPR
          Newcastle
          QPR
          ? Swans/QPR/Notts For/Leicester/Barcelona

So he gets hauled into the managers office each time after only a few months, and they say 'sorry Wayne, we're letting you go/sending you out on loan' Why isn't it working for him?

Is it because he is predictable? Good pace but....

He is an exciting player and once he is in front of someone, he is superb, but where he falls flat in his face, is getting past someone. Also, going up against plodders like Orr and Hill in the Championship is not the same as going up against Naughton and Walker. Hogan is the same, great at running unopposed with the ball, but useless getting past someone and crossing or shooting.

IMO, Smith is a better option as he seems to get past a player, then gets the ball in first time, which at the end of the day is a wide mans job.

If you think he wasn't a massive improvement with regards to quality on mackie then you live in cuckoo land.

Him and Adel were our 2 best attacking players, his final ball which doesn't get any credit was 1st class and much improved under warnock. Just because we are missing out on WR doesn't make it rubbish. I love the way people say he isn't a premiership player, yet how many in our current squad can you say that are? Fed up with fans claiming he isn't good enough, fu cking look at our squad and then make a decision
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Its not only QPR fans expressing their opinion that he is not good enough, its experienced managers who have given him the chance in the past to show what he can do and after doing so, have then loaned him out to a team in a lower league. Why would they do that if he was good enough ?

I think the point is that WeAre is making is that he is still better than Mackie (and prob Puncheon, tho jury still out on him for obvious reasons).

Anyway, think we should put this to bed as he clearly isn't coming to us so its all a bit after the event.

So because he couldn't tie down Joey Bartons place, makes him not good enough? Warnock said he wanted to sign him so that 1 quality manager that rates him. The swansea manager must see something as he already has 2 quality wingers. I'm not saying he's a top 6 signing just better that what we have.
