yep at the end of the season he said that... but then it all went extremely quiet... i dont believe swansea have been trying to sign him since the window opened either. i dont think many other teams were interested. perhaps leicester and forest (championship teams says it all really). maybe when he was only given a small amount to spend he he thought "fook that i aint wasting my budget on him"

And prepared to live in Swansea which makes Middlesbrough and Hull seem poshOriginally posted by Morris View PostStrange comment, seeing as almost everytime he has moved it has been the club wanting to move him on.
You could also say he isn't a money grabber and goes where he thinks he will play football, instead of sitting in the reserves and picking his wages up.

More of a Premier League impact in 11 games (3 goals) than Lil' Wayne has in 100. (Zero goals).Originally posted by NW9_RANGER View Postwhat u guys worried about anyway - puncheon should be here soon

And 5 goals in 7 games in the Championship for Millwall last season.
Routledge also scored 5 for QPR, in 20 games.
But "Saints fans dont like him"."Trust In Warnock" - Don't just type it - Do It.

I'm disappointed as he was as instrumental as anyone in 2nd half of season. He's goals, pace and creativity gave us another dimension. However, I do struggle to see why swansea want him as they have sinclair and dyer....that's 3 similar players. Sinclair the best of the 3. I also struggle to see the benefit of the 2 strikers norwich signed....are they better than what they have?

confuses me too. to be honest sinclair plays on the left but there is no way routledge is better than dyer. so struggling to see where routledge fits in to the team. i think it could be another season on the premier league sidelines and off on loan to qpr in january lolOriginally posted by James1979 View PostI'm disappointed as he was as instrumental as anyone in 2nd half of season. I really think Warnock would have liked him. But was giving a far smaller budget by Briatore than he expected.
So Warnock had to choose his priorities more carefully, and Routledge wasn;t as vital to Warnock as a couple of strikers and defensive strenthening. Understandable.
Kieron Dyer was the cheaper alternative than Routledge.
Maybe after the Fernades takeover, some additional cash might be given to NW?
They (Warnock and Tony Fernandes) have discussed transfer targets, according to reports.
Ifs and maybe's at the moment, but a bit more hopeful. Maybe!"Trust In Warnock" - Don't just type it - Do It.

Unfortunately, for the WR deal anyway, the takeover will probably come too late.

Aaron Lennon is probably the pick of them. Even he gets accused of being a headless chicken. Unplayable on his day though.Originally posted by James1979 View PostBit of a mad thought but how successful are the routledge type players in the prem? Walcott in my view is pick of that type of player and he's pretty hit and miss.
Pace alone isn't enough, but it can often be in The Championship."Trust In Warnock" - Don't just type it - Do It.
