Maybe I should Brighton, however, I got carried away and was trying to get across the point that this original message about representing the views of qpr fans didn't represent the views of either me or others that i know.
I don't agree with everything that our board have done and acknowledge that they have done some things very badly indeed, however, when i look at the fixture list and see that a team we are playing on Friday week (Luton) playing in the Ryman league it brings home to me what different paths we have taken in recent years since we were in the same division together and how lucky we have actually been.
On the points of the board etc I still maintain that owning QPR is a nightmare scenario for anyone. If you have money, you must spend it. If you spend it badly, you need to spend more. If you don't you are a c***.
If I owned QPR and had no tie to them at all, I would look upon many QPR fans in a negative manner. When commenting I try and take a step back and put myself in the eyes of the owners. It is then, when I see our maximum capacity, that i understand why they try and charge the prices they do and then i have some sympathy with their actions.
Maybe I am in the minority but i believe that i am a realist.
As for someone having the right to think someone played a bad game that is fine and people express their views on here, but trying to official "fan" view that slates players is unhelpful.
Some players turn out to be duds but i recall a number of players being signed who fans used to rave about. As soon as they pulled on the blue and white shirt and played badly who got blamed ? the board ! People need to be grown up and stop blaming someone else. Every single fan has a part to play in contributing to the performance of this club.
Releasing "official" statments slating players is a very poor contribution indeed !
Well, you've basically said the same thing, but in a much better way.
Seems to me that due to the way they have behaved and gone about things, not necessarily the end results, they have passed the point when most fans would have given them the benefit of the doubt. Shame really, as they had all the support they could ever have wished for at the start.
Still, never mind. Looks like they will be off shortly, to be replaced by the next lot in line for abuse.Comment

Brighton, I am of the view that owning any football club is a thankless task.
We are at a point where we wish for new owners but the next ones could be even worse.
I don't wholeheartedly support the board, however, I am quietly impressed that they have achieved success so far, albeit having taken us on a very bumpy road.
Better the devil you know is my thinking at this point.Comment

OK. Guess I should respond.
It doesn't take a genius to work out that the statement is meant as a joke. However Perhaps the title of the article could have been a little better!
I have no problems with QPR fan groups, I think for the most part they do a great job and I wouldn't even want to imagine the hours put in by people who work for no pay.
However I am a little insulted at the way you have painted me. You throw me in with with The Loftus Road boo boys, something I whole heartedly object too and have never done. You also state that you represent 'real Q.P.R fans' thus rendering me not a real fan. As someone who has loyally supported Q.P.R for over 25 years I find this deeply insulting and upsetting.
The blog I write was started as something to give back to the Q.P.R community. It is meant to take a slightly lighter look at life in W12, lord knows we have needed it during our recent history!
I hope this puts a line under an unnecessary debate.
I am and will always be a fiercely loyal Q.P.R supporter, I know that you are and always will be too.

every one is entitled to their views but posting what you did you sounded like a cc ok........try asking other peoples views instead of pushing yours on others.....it might help in better reactions!!!! unless you are looking for an arguement with others.....Brighton, I am of the view that owning any football club is a thankless task.

This has to be one of the worse threads ive read on this site! not real Q.P.R FANS INDEED! Ive got no problems with fans booing our own players ,you pays your money and all that. we have always been a very fickle lot at loftus road and i like it that way, we sort of stand out from the crowd instead of being a bunch of seals clapping any shite ,we make our feelings heard! as for you even trying to back this bunch of clowns in charge at the moment well mate you really are having a laugh! i think you posted this thread without really thinking about how people on here would react and i think you got it wrong mate but i dont suppose my veiw will count in your opion being as i aint a real fan!!!LONDON CALLING TO THE ZOMBIES OF DEATH.... ALSO KNOW AS BRENTFORD FANS

thanks for the response.
To be honest my main point was about slating QPR players. I accept you are not a boo boy and maybe i misinterpreted from your post that you were someone that does boo the players.
I have supported the club for longer than you, but that does not make me a better fan than you.
I detest the slating of anything to do with QPR, even moreso, from within and that was what prompted my initial message.
As a result, I often come across as someone that loves the board. That is not necessarily the case.
I am a true fan of QPR that is very proud of our achievements over the past 12 months and I like to speak positively about our club. I feel, at times, that we are far too keen to speak about the negative aspects of our club yet the achievements of the past twelve months are yet to be given the appreciation they so deserve. As hard as it is to believe, a lot of that is down to the decisions made by our current board, love them or hate them.
Am happy to draw a line under this episode.
I do not wish to differentiate between QPR fans, however, I ask you all now to turn your focus onto just the team over the coming months as we look to make our premiership stay one of more than twelve months duration
The reality is that we will always need a mug to own QPR.Comment

jimmy conners...you cannot be serious.. big pat stole a winners medal and leon clarke pleaseAs ever, you all miss the main point of the post and that is naming and shaming certain players.
People that write that type of tosh are not true QPR fans. How dare they ?
You have a go at Bernie and Flavio for slagging off the fans, who the hell are you slagging off the one thing we all can gather around and that is the players. Agyemang is not Pele but the guy does not lack effort and for me I would rather see that than someone that comes in to pick up his pay cheque.
Shame on you. Shame on you.
This message is not about supporting the board, it is about being ashamed of people who call themselves qpr fans who:
1) Try and ridicule their own players in the press
2) Who boo their own players.
If you think that someone that does this is a REAL qpr fan then we will have to agree to disagree.
Support your club and be proud of them. You and I will be around a lot longer than the board. We are a few weeks away from the start of the season and we have a team of players that will do their very best to represent us.Comment
