One day Adel Taarabt might wake up and hear a "clonk" noise.
It will be a penny dropping.
He may just realise that the reason such a massive talent is not being persued by a top Premier League team, or a big club in Spain is his attitude, his poor work ethic, and his ability to **** off fans and managers with his little on-pitch tantrums.

He is 22 years old, not 17.

He has to look in the mirror and ask himself why the real big clubs aren't interested in him yet. It's partly because he's still unproven in a major league, and partly because he's a big spoilt f*cking baby.
When that dawns on him, then he can be what he wants to be.

He could start by getting a better agent, who has his best interests and long-term developement at heart. Instead of acting like a $10 #####.

NW is preoccupied atm with how we're going to survive next season; he really doesn't have time for completing AT's finishing school education. He's going to leave that to whoever buys him next, presumably in the January transfer window.
In the meantime he's going to use all the talents available to him including Taarabt's. Is fining/suspending him going to help our prospects in the struggle? The way NW handled him last season got the best out of him. We can get a bit more in the months ahead and we're going to need him happy to do that.

In that case, you have either mis-read my post, or you have let the whole point elude you.

What I am saying is that Taarabt is a class player. That much is clear. He hasn't proven himself beyond the lower league, but I'm sure he will.

That aside...He should NOT be allwoed to do as he pleases, regardless of his tallent. It's not fair on the rest of the team, and it doesn't set an example to any young talent we bring through in the future.

Did you ever see Fergie allow a player to put team morale in jeopardy, or accept a talented paler should be given lordship within his squads? No is the answer. He shipped many a talent out for trying to do such things.
