We did, but weareqpr12 and I had a little misunderstanding and it went off topic and as its a good topic I started a new thread.

Anyway, if Warnock is going to be so publically threatened so should Adel.

Both are under contract and if one rule applies to one so it should to the other. There's no reason why he can't start the season as well as Carroll did for Newcastle and get his dream move afterwards instead of acting like a spoilt brat.

But if Warnock and Adel are both publicly threatened for making their views known to the public, why should T&C be allowed to (oh yes, they own the club)?

I've not said what they get up to is fine. I think the behaviour of the modern day footballer is disgusting. The average person living in UK today earns £30k per annum the average Premiership footballer earns that a week.

In that case, you have either mis-read my post, or you have let the whole point elude you.

What I am saying is that Taarabt is a class player. That much is clear. He hasn't proven himself beyond the lower league, but I'm sure he will.

That aside...He should NOT be allwoed to do as he pleases, regardless of his tallent. It's not fair on the rest of the team, and it doesn't set an example to any young talent we bring through in the future.

Did you ever see Fergie allow a player to put team morale in jeopardy, or accept a talented paler should be given lordship within his squads? No is the answer. He shipped many a talent out for trying to do such things.

Don't you think the time to impose a shackle on him would have been from the beginning? Not sure what sanction would make a difference now that he's going anyway. What could they do to him?
Good point about Ferguson; however he didn't always get it right. He shipped,as you put it, Jaap Stam and regretted it, as he pointed out in his book. It could also be argued that Keane was treated differently to
the other players for much of his spell there although he was sent packing in the end.
Apart from that, I think we're in total agreement.
