    Just cancelled my membership... :/

    Yesterday, I renewed my membership.

Today, having learnt that members can now only by ONE ticket during members pre-sale, I have phoned up and cancelled.

What a RIDICULOUS policy change from last year. Unbelievable.
When I buy a ticket for the Mrs (or a mate) and I, I do so with the understanding that she / they would be sitting next to me. Under the new rule, I'd have to wait until general sale to be able to get the second ticket - likelihood of seat next to me still being available..hmmm....!!

    Crazy club :/

Snaxo, thanks for pointing this out, buying tickets in advance sale is the sole reason I need membership really, being an overseas fan, and I often would buy two tickets, for myself and a friend, once even brought my Mom over to attend a Christmas fixture, her first football match ever, she enjoyed it very much. Pity that now I will no longer be able to do this - so I won't be renewing my membership and the club won't be getting 40 extra quid from me.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

haha Mellow, )) TBH I like taking the Mrs, she has become a little bit of a QPR supporter and really enjoys going.

Why do they care if a member buys 2 tickets? They have not only lost my membership, but it means I'll probably end up going to fewer games as well now. Really angered by this.
Box Office did not seem to care one bit that I was cancelling. You get better treatment even from bloody Sky if you try and cancel them -at least they try and hang on to you!

Not surprised. So often we all bring the odd mate to a game to a Rangers game, and now because of this crap ruling you can't do that and the club lose out.

Sounds like a refund to me, but it's ok we can all pretend it's just a cancellation, as I don't blame u after the stick I recieved, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Why should someone who has a membership miss out on a ticket cos everybody want's to take a mate who is not a member? if you want to take someone along get them a membership aswell. Last year there was not a demand for away tickets now we are in the prem everybody wants to go.

Big difference Greggy boy, Snaxo is doing this because of the farcical ticketing situation and not throwing his toys out about signings.
Nice try at deflecting though mate. Any tips??

I'm talking about home tickets not away tickets.
Do you think there will be enough Season ticket holders + members to fill the ground? I think not....

i suppose the problem will be that if were all allowed to buy extra tickets how many of our fans buy to sell on, last year did we not moan that people were buying tickets for last few games and selling on?
fkng annoying as my mrs and daughter want to come along to a few games but cant guarantee getting the tickets near me (though as somone pointed out them not being able to come maybe not a bad thing)

I'm sure other teams in the Premiership don't let you bring someone along with you. My mate supports Spurs and his whole family had to get a membership each as its only one per a member there.

10000 season tickets sold 2000 away fans lets say 1000 W12 and VIP tickets thats 13000 leaving around 5000 tickets for members how many members do you think we will have? any more than 3000 and buying tickets for a mate would be unfair on other members.

Did they charge a £40 cancellation fee? Would not surprise me.
