The idea is that there will be two big name strikers (talking to one world class player) with two lesser lights as back up/Europa League players. Bothroyd is one possibility that would pique Harry's interest. Not at £50k a week though

But still goes to more R's games and wears his Rangers shirts for football practice - can name the QPR team but not the Spurs one....slowly, slowly catchy monkey. Being on MotD next season will wheedle him back in properly.

Well he owes me 15 quid and I said use that money to buy my half of the drinks. So if he lets you all down he hasn't paid up our 15 quid bet which he hasn't paid for over a year now. Not a good bloke when it comes to money and is always looking for freebies.

Easy to say that when you don't know the bloke, mate. He's helped myself, and other fans out on several ocasions with money. He was the reason I got to Boro away last season, as well as a couple of other games. Of course, it was all paid back, but this is a classic example of letting message board bulls**t give you an opinion. Those 'freebies' all came out of his own pocket for a long while for those competitions that everyone was happy to enter, and claim their prizes from. Then a few site sponsors helped run comps after a while.

Honestly mate, you shouldn't continue saying things about others that are untrue, just because of how other people paint someone to be. Ok, you have your issue about a bet, but that's not to say the man isn't a decent person where cash and lending is concerned, nor that he is always looking for freebies.

And there was silly old me thinking he pays for his season ticket every year including last season when he did not even use it half the season as he was commentating for the blind

He also paid full whack on the away coaches and paid for every match ticket

If that really is the case then I owe him an apology.

The thing is his best mates come to his defence but plenty of others say different. I don't question his loyalty to the club as he is a decent fan just question his honesty, as like benny said he never paid a bet that we agreed on.
