Spot on ,got annoyed because the interviewer asked why he ended up in the championship and not the prem league. They wanted CMS in the prem , how many prem league teams really were seriously in for him?

I could understand him telling porkies during negotiations but what motivation does he have now after the fact?

He also said West Ham made a bigger offer than Brighton but CMS didn't fancy it, so clearly it's not just him being sore about not getting the best deal out of us.

What difference does it make to Fry whether CMS ended up in the Prem or the Champ? Peterborough fans know they can't compete financially with a fair few clubs in their division, it wouldn't be any scandal and Fry wouldn't have lost face. So why would he be annoyed enough to start making stories up about us?

maybe warnock interested but not at the 2.5 to 3 mill price point, its not unimaginable that warnock to get out of it says he cant get the money , not an unusual strategy for anyone in business, ive used that before when getting out of a deal, as someone mentioned mabe warnock interested till he heard about other opportunities , if he has only got 10 mill he wouldnt spend 25-30 % of it on cms would he? and to be fair not one of us on here thought cms worth that much so wh is it bad if the board say they dont think hes worth the money and wont sanction the transfer?
