Same goes for our current owners really - but of course they never had any intention of turning us into the next Man City.

1) We're in LondonOriginally posted by Snaxo View PostCan't see why such a person would want to buy QPR and turn them into 'the next Man City' though. Somebody with that cash could buy most clubs. You'd buy one with a bigger fan base, wouldn't you??
2) They'd be buying POTENTIAL - QPR, once established in the PL could sell out a new 30,000 stadium.

If true I fear that Bernie & Flavio will stick around to sell Adel and then leaveUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Hmm highly doubt this is true. But if it were, there are only a couple of Russians that are richer than Roman:
Vladimir Sergeevitch Lisin, chairman of a steel company. Potentially a link with Mittal.
Mikhail Dmitrievitch Prokhorov, who has been known to have sporting interestes. Has invested in CSKA Moscow and basketball team New Jersey Nets

probably ******** but i can see the scenario
if you were a russian billionaire then QPR would make sense if you wanted to one up abramovitch then buying a smaller club and making them bigger than chelsea would be a fun thing to do
doing it with spurs or arsenal just wouldnt give the same buzzits New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
