It's now 8 days till the players report back, staff start to earn their corn again and the new Premiership adventure commences.

I have a feeling in my gut (abd city whispers) that something may happen in that window of a week and a day to shape the next 9 months.

I'm actually starting to get a smidge excited by it all and may even renew my ST tomorrow to ramp up the adrenalin.

Here's hoping on that one.

Until the SE jousting is finished I don't see anyone being signed (official like).

You can't commit a business to anymore outgoings if no-one with the clout can or wants to sign the Contracts

(And I pray that a certain someone NEVER has the chance to sign off a players Contract ever again)

Not having a dig at the Graham debacle but would be gutted if we didn;t get Boothroyd now . Just the sort of player that NW could improve to suit our game

I've heard postive stuff on Taarabt in the short term, but I'm not convinced.

What do you make about the comments from Barry Fry about CMS turning us down coz NW was unable to give assurances that he would still be in charge for the start of the season ???

Personally I would have been disappointed with CMS but sounds like somethings not right somewhere !
