Disgraceful post from our resident armchair supporter, how many times have you even seen him play live???

Wilkins was hardly young and fast for us and he done a great job, Derry can cut it in the PL and bar Taarabt and Kenny was our most important player last season.

How you can class 32 as too old is beyond me Matt-Chew.

Anybody who has a negative comment about Derry needs there head looking at, he gave it his all last year, not my poty but probes 2nd. He was our backbone kept heads level. To say he is to old is an insult en there are 39 year olds playing the prem. Agree with w12 ranger, armchair supporters making these comments. His performances away from home last year earnt us those hard fought points.. Fact, make sure your fingers are linked up to your brain next time you post! Mugs

Hope Derry gets a chance in the Prem, he certainly deserves it after his performances last season, as do most of the squad. Some may be bit part next season but they deserve their chance.
For every Adel you need a Shaun Derry or two.

Amazing really, when you think about when Derry and Hill first signed and the amount of bad press our fans gave to both.Despite all the good things said about Adel Paddy Kenny Wayne Routledge, Faurlin etc....and i know this sounds kind of stupid, but to really appreciate Derry, you had to be at the games.

On live TV, his running tackling organising etc..is missed as much is done off the ball.

For me...a player i feel we should keep and let him have a go in the PL.By all means, bring in a replacement or a youngster that could feel his shoes and maybe "share" the role....but offloading him, unless its his choice 100% i feel is wrong.IMHO...

Like ive said many times i was shocked when we signed him because i had always thought he was pony but how wrong i was.
For me he was the most important player in the side last year, a skipper, an organiser, a man with b0llox and the sort of player every team should have.
