£50 Tickets may be back

Thats the problem, supporters see £50 and latch onto it !!

Platinum matches will be more, but never £50..

If you are going to choose Newcastle United over Barnsley, I would charge a little more to watch it.

Its an excuse to complain about something, wouldn't be surprised to learn those who like to moan about it wouldn't even sit in Platinum in first place but its all about the 'principal' of it.

TBH dont have a problem with us charging over the top for big games, but at least wait until the season starts to pick those games, what if (very unlikely, but if us & those in the platinum brackets) are in the bottom half of the table, then what!

For the hype of last season , our average home attendance increased by less than a hundred , if the powers that be decide to put up last season's matchday prices , it would show that they haven't learned anything from last season and propbably never will.

I for one never believed in premium prices for certain games , in a season of homes games ; you might have 3 great games , 4 good games , 10 average games and 6 poor games. But , the best games could be the lower prices games , so price banding for matches is rubbish really

Why don't people just wait and see what the matchday ticket prices are before jumping to assumptions alternatively buy a season ticket and stop ****ing complaining.

ST Platinum = £30.50 per match
ST Gold = £26 per match
ST Silver = £21.70 per match

Antagonistic thread title?! But I agree people should obviously wait though you can understand the immediate negative reaction when you rmember what they tried to do last season. However, lets hope that maybe they are doing it with a view to making th Platinum and Gold prices as you suggest and te Silver prices as cheap! With alot of people choosing their games this season there's a big risk of haveing several sub10k attendances for the Silver games so a cheap price would presumably increase those figures. Lets just hope Ali is thinking along the same lines!
