    QPR keen on Bothroyd

Skysports.com understands that Queens Park Rangers are keen to land England international Jay Bothroyd.

The 28-year-old striker is available on a free transfer after he opted to leave Cardiff City at the end of last season when his contract expired.

Bothroyd, who has confirmed he could not join Cardiff's rivals Swansea, is attracting attention from a number of clubs in both the Premier League and Championship.

Skysports.com now understand that one of those hoping to land his signature is newly promoted QPR.

The likes of Everton and Celtic have been closely linked with the former Wolves man in recent weeks.

Blackstock-esque, just a big lump with limited ability. At Loftus Road last season all Cardiff did was smash it up to him.

had the ability to put a worldy past Kenny at their place. Tbf not the best striker in the world but id much sooner see him with the hooped shirt on starting a PL game ahead of Dave, Vine or HH (although I do like HH, just saying I think Boothroyd has slightly more class about him).
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Not sure that's sufficient criteria to survive in the Prem.
