To be honest I keep forgetting about the 1882 site and only post here and the QPR Report site so rarely visit there but Funky seems to be doing a good job there and it appears to have a lot more then four posters so good luck to him and the posters on there

Now MYU isnt exactly around Pete could always employ me ;) After all for a site with 4 posters i built it pretty frigging well to be found online ;)

Should we be discussing the amount of posters threads and moderators on other sites?

The more QPR sites and contributers the better I reckon regardless where folk prefer to post as a preference

There has been some talk from Eastcote QPR on this site concerning other sites and C&P.

Now I think most will agree that a lot of stuff on most sites (including this one) starts off with stuff found on other sites.

So I just wondered has anyone else (apart from myself and James) ever had a discussion with the club concerning the ramifications of copying and pasting the official sites contents....

I am confused why would either yourself or HA9 Ranger of had discussions with the club in the first place?

could give you hundreds of examples but a simple footy related one is it is illegal to put up the premier league fixtures without a license.

I will be happy for you to point me in the direction of a succesful prosecution of someone quoting or c&p info that wasin the public domain. Infact, that is the reason why publishers are putting info behind a pay Walls now.

Don't have a problem with discussing other boards in a friendly way.

It is when some start making snide remarks that I have a problem.

I think the BBC got very protective a few months ago as well regarding their League Tables and prediction thingy and threatened a few websites with legal action
