I know for a fact that we have DONE a deal with Apple as our new shirt sponsor - 100% fact. Paperwork has been signed.

Now if this proves not to be the case no problem as it will be passed off as "this is what this site is all about" etc. etc.

I heard it was Orange, not Apple!

It was a 3 year deal - 2008 to 2011 - end of.

Who wants to be associated with Gulf Air in the current political climate?

I would expect any new deal to be worth more than the 7M one negotiated for a Championship team.

I know what you're saying but this particular instance is standard practice. We find out officially when the new sponsor is unveiled.
