just interviewed the football agent Phil Smith who claims to have a "working knowledge" of whats going on at our place..
says Warnock is having difficulties here at the moment and that he is a manager who has never had much mioney to spend throughout his career and he hasnt got much now either.....

I think this board had better be careful because if they **** Warnock enough that he walks then their troubles will really begin..

thing is alot of people in media will expect us to spend 30mil.. etc which will never happen. regardless of our owners wealth.

warnock will have 12m or around it. thats fine by me.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
    Lovejoy: "No?!"

We was never going to have £25m to spend. Still expect Warnock will work wonders with £8m-10m.

Do you actually think that either of our co-owners know enough about football to realise that Warnock quitting would be a bad thing? They would probably view it as a positive outcome.

Doubt it will be half that.....

I would guess around £5-6m used on players with buy out clauses and frees on decent wages. As long as those on big wages have release clauses in their contracts if we get relegated it's fine with me.

I think our Board have a bigger eye on reducing the club debt than throwing the kitchen sink at staying up, which is also fine with me.

£40 million rising to £90 million is the prize for winning premier league status, so where does this money go?
Part loan repayment? Part new players budget? But what proportions? Will we have to wait until seeing the end of year annual report to find out?
Do we even have a right to know? After all, this is Bernies toy to play with, not ours.
Getting really sick of this 'behind closed doors' way of running our club, the lies and scheming.

What he also said was it depends who owns the club.

Wishful thinking on Warno's part I'd say.

you have got to remmeber we have debt circa 40 mill, they are right not to spend it all, our gate revenue not enough to cover wages we pay big money and most of this money will go on that, i doubt very much that they draw a salary from the club, they managing the club in a financially responsible manner by not spending it all , look at portsmouth and hull , they are examples of spending all the cash upfront
the 90 mill you quote wont be over 1 year think that inc parachute payments if you go down aswel, thats the min return obv we stay up then we make more
