I have a mate here in barcelona whos best mates with JB and that there is a very good chance he could be joining us for next season. Personally I think he would be a cracking signing. He's out of contract at Cardiff so wages wont be a problem and lets remember he picked up he's first cap for England this season and whos to say he wont win more playing for us.

Hell have the ability to demand what he wants as he is out of contract. More teams will want him as he's free and therefore highest bidder will win = more money for player and agent.

I know someone at a championship club who has been told to do exactly that in the next year and could easily do it at the top level, and he has done it there.

If we are being tight with money, we won't get him. I don't see why we haven't gone for him seeing as contracts are being negotiated, that's all that is needed for a free agent

I do hear there may be a house empty in the area however the market this was aimed at was the "top scorer in the Championship" type of buyer.
